DQ200DSG issues go back for years to 2009 if not before, then to 2012, then 2012-2015, then 2014/15-2018. There are issues now in 2019 with DQ200's in Skoda Karoq that have lost drive. Maybe only very few, but then VW are not the ones that own up to how many. It was not sorted out in 2012 or 2015, 7Speed DSG Problems after mechatronics replacement. The golf drives really well apart from take off in drive after a run of @ 10miles, there is a judder between first and second gear, which is really annoying. Only the 7 speed dsg as fitted to 1.4 and below VW group cars have dry clutches. The 6 speed fitted to 2.0 and Anew 7-speed DSG (dual-wet-clutch gearbox) also helps to deliver CO 2 figures that have in some cases been improved by up to 10 g/km. (Click here to read) There is the Slipping Clutch issues, 2014/15-2018. 1.6 is more like 60 mpg so quite a difference and the 7 speed DSG helps fuel consumption where the 6 DSG damages it by around 2 mpg according to the old extra urban figures and my nKF2cg.
