Canon 6D Vs. 5D Mark II. Any good comparison? - posted in DSLR, Mirrorless & General-Purpose Digital Camera DSO Imaging: Hello all, looking only at the specs it would seem that 6D is better then 5DMkII, but when I went to a shop recently, because they know the astrophotography stuff, they suggest me to rather go to a 5DMkII.
Some of my and other peopleβs favorite photos of mine were shot on the Canon 5D Mark iii. So if the RP is in any way similar, I think I might really like it, albeit with a cheaper lens. My EOS R was supposed to be a back up to my 5DMIV. Four months down the road, I sold my 5DMIV.
LCD Display: While both cameras have fixed LCD screens, the screen on the 5D Mark III is slightly bigger at 3.2β compared to the screen on the 6D, which is 3.0β. Dimensions and Weight: The 6D is slightly smaller than the 5D Mark III, with the 6D measuring 5.7β x 4.4β x 2.8β, while the 5D Mark III measures 6.0β x 4.4β x 3.0β.
Has phase-detection autofocus for videos. Canon EOS 5D Mark III. Canon EOS 5DS R. A phase-detection autofocus system is faster than a contrast detection autofocus system. Even when recording scenes with a lot of fast movements, the videos are sharp and clear. has continuous autofocus when recording movies.
